A Legacy of Engineering Excellence Since 1996

Prakash Ram Patwa, president of the Magadh Bunkar Kalyan Seva Samitee, emphasized the long-standing tradition of success in Patwa Toli. "Patwa Toli has established its identity for producing quality engineers through the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) colleges," he stated. "Since 1996, more than 150 male students have cracked the competition to gain admission into IITs, and now girls are also not lagging behind."

This legacy is built on a foundation of collaborative learning and mentorship. Students prepare through group study sessions, with seniors who are currently pursuing engineering courses providing valuable guidance. This peer support system has been instrumental in maintaining high success rates over the years.

Innovative Support Systems: AI Labs and Free Tutoring

Adding to the traditional methods, a platform called 'Vriksha Be The Change (VBTC)', founded by Chandra Patekar, offers free assistance to students. This initiative includes experienced teachers like Sunil Kumar (chemistry), Kuldeep Prasad (physics), and Dinesh Sharma, who volunteer their time to guide aspirants.

Chandra Patekar highlighted the integration of modern technology in their preparation strategy. "An AI (artificial intelligence) and robotics lab has been started with classes organized by VBTC," he explained. "This is very helpful as students take regular tests patterned similarly to the JEE Main, enhancing their readiness and confidence."

Expanding Reach with Online and Offline Classes

To cater to a wider audience, the support system includes both offline and online components. Apart from classroom guidance and tutorial sessions, online preparation facilities are available for outstation students. Several learners from states like Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh participate in these virtual classes.

However, Patekar advises that for optimal results, attending offline classes is recommended. "We suggest them to attend offline classes for better results," he added, emphasizing the value of in-person interaction and structured learning environments.

The success of Manpur Patwa Toli in JEE Main 2024 not only celebrates individual achievements but also showcases a community-driven model that blends tradition with innovation. With continued support from mentors, volunteers, and technological tools, this area is poised to produce many more engineers in the years to come.
