Bihar Student Nasreen Parveen Achieves 97.2% in Class 10 Exams, Ranks Among State's Top Five

When the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the Matriculation results for 2026, Nasreen Parveen's face lit up with an unstoppable smile. The Class 10 student from Arrah secured an outstanding 486 marks out of 500, achieving a remarkable 97.2% score and earning a place among Bihar's top five performers.

What makes Nasreen's accomplishment particularly inspiring is her background. Her father works as a mason, and the family has faced significant financial difficulties. Despite these challenges, Nasreen's dedication to her studies never wavered.

"I feel wonderful. First and foremost, I would like to give full credit for my success to my family. Additionally, I would also like to attribute full credit to my self-study and self-education. I used to study for 8–9 hours every day. I received immense support from my family," Nasreen told IANS.

With her father working long hours as a mason to support the family, Nasreen turned to disciplined self-study, consistently putting in 8-9 hours of focused preparation daily. Nasreen isn't resting on her laurels. She has set her sights on becoming a doctor and has clear plans for her future education.

"I want to pursue Biology in Class 12 and appear for the NEET UG exam," she shared. Her focus and ambition indicate that this young achiever is aiming not just for academic excellence, but for a meaningful and impactful career in medicine.

Girls Continue to Excel in Bihar Board Exams

Bihar's Class 10 results this year continue a positive trend of girls leading academic achievements. Two female students topped the state with 492 marks (98.4%), while the overall pass rate stood at 81.79%.
