The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) has officially published the examination schedule for the Class 10 (Matric) and Class 12 (Intermediate) tests scheduled for the December 2025 session. BBOSE Exam Dates and Session Timings
According to the official notification, the theoretical examinations for both classes will be conducted over a specific period with two daily shifts. The Class 12 (Intermediate) exams will commence first, starting on December 9, 2025, and will conclude on December 24, 2025. For Class 10 (Matric) students, the written tests are scheduled to be held from December 15 to December 23, 2025.
Each day will feature two sessions. The morning shift will run from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. As per standard board rules, students will be granted a 15-minute period at the start of each exam to read and comprehend the question paper.

The Class 10 examinations will begin with the Science and Drawing papers. The schedule outlines the subjects for each date across the two shifts, concluding with language papers such as Bhojpuri, Bangla, Arabic, and Persian on the final day.

For Class 12 students, the theory exams kick off with languages like Maithili, Magahi, and Bangla. The extensive schedule runs for over two weeks, finishing with papers in Urdu, Accountancy, and Bhojpuri.

Practical Exams and Important Instructions
In addition to the theoretical papers, BBOSE has also announced the schedule for the practical examinations. The Class 10 (matric) practicals are set for December 6 to December 9, 2025. For Class 12 (intermediate) students, the practical tests will be conducted a day earlier, from December 5 to December 8, 2025.
These practical exams will also be held in two shifts daily: a morning session from 9 AM to noon and an afternoon session from 1 PM to 4 PM.
The board has reiterated its commitment to inclusivity by stating that students who are unable to write independently will be permitted to use a scribe, as per the guidelines issued by the District Education Officer. Such candidates will also be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination.
In a related development, BBOSE has issued dummy admit cards for both Classes 10 and 12 for the June and December 2025 examination cycles. Students are strongly advised to meticulously verify all personal and academic details printed on these dummy cards. The board has set a strict deadline of November 18, 2025, for the submission of any correction requests.
