The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has unveiled the admission schedule for first-year degree architecture courses for students who have completed Class 12 science or diploma engineering. Registration for admissions to government, granted, and self-financed architecture colleges across Gujarat will commence on May 19 and continue until June 20. The entire admission process can be completed online, eliminating the need for students to physically visit the admission office.
Eligibility Criteria and Examination Requirements
According to the official notification, candidates seeking admission must have appeared in either the JEE Main Paper-2 examination or the NATA 2025-26 examination. The first round of seat allotment is scheduled to be declared on July 14. As per eligibility norms, students from the science stream must have studied physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with chemistry, biology, technical vocational subjects, computer science, or information technology. General category students must secure at least 45% marks, while reserved category students require a minimum of 40% marks to qualify for registration. Under the Council of Architecture norms, appearing in either NATA or JEE Main Paper-2 is compulsory for admission.
Seat Availability and Distribution
Currently, 20 architecture colleges in the state offer a total of 1,232 seats. However, the Admission Committee will conduct the admission process only for 733 government quota seats. Last year, 1,051 students secured admission to architecture courses. Of the seats available under the admission process, 100 are in granted colleges, 141 in Centres of Excellence institutions, and 492 in self-financed colleges. Management quota admissions will be conducted separately by eligible institutions.

As per the admission schedule, document submission will continue until June 25, while the provisional merit list will be published on June 30. Mock round choice filling will be held from June 30 to July 5, with results scheduled for July 7. Final choice filling will take place between July 8 and July 12.
