The Indira Gandhi National Open University has released the revised schedule for the June 2026 Term-End Examination on May 12, 2026. Eligible learners can now check exam timings, session structure, and provisional permission conditions.
Exam Schedule and Session Details
Examinations will be conducted in two daily sessions. The morning session runs from 10 AM to 1 PM, and the evening session from 2 PM to 5 PM. The actual duration of each paper will be specified on the question paper. Hall tickets will be available on the official website, and students are advised to download them regularly and follow instructions. Examination centres may change due to unavoidable circumstances; affected learners should contact their Regional Centre.
Hall Ticket and Eligibility Conditions
Hall ticket issuance requires valid and non-time-barred course registration, submission of assignments by the deadline, completion of minimum programme duration, and payment of examination fees. Non-compliance may result in non-declaration of results. Students must check programme-specific requirements before appearing. Some courses will follow an MCQ OMR pattern as specified.
MCQ Pattern Courses Specified
Several programmes will have objective type question papers based on MCQ and OMR formats, including selected BDP, BTS, BCA, BSW, CLIS, CBCS-based courses, and DECE programmes. Certain courses will be descriptive, while specific MPH courses will be held together with separate question papers and answer scripts. Students may write answers in Hindi for selected programmes, and Bengali is available for CRD, PGDRD, and MARD courses. Clash of exam dates within the same group will not be considered, and no date change requests will be entertained. Students should regularly check the IGNOU official website for updates.
