HPCET 2026 Admit Card Released
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has officially released the admit card for the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2026 today, May 5, 2026. All registered candidates can now download their hall tickets from the official website — himtu.ac.in.
To access the admit card, applicants must log in using their application number and date of birth. It is crucial to verify all details printed on the hall ticket, including name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date and time, exam centre address, and the programme applied for. Any discrepancies should be reported immediately.
HPCET 2026 Exam Date
The HPCET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 10, 2026. Candidates must ensure they have a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID proof to gain entry to the exam centre. The admit card will also be required during the counselling process.

HPCET 2026 Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen-and-paper) with multiple-choice questions. For BTech and BPharmacy courses, there will be 150 questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, carrying a total of 600 marks. The duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes. For other courses like MCA and MBA, there will be approximately 100 questions on verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, and general awareness, with a duration of 2 hours.
Candidates are strongly advised to download their admit card as soon as possible and prepare all required documents well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues on exam day.
