Anna University, Chennai has officially released the final answer key for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026 and the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions for Postgraduate Programmes (CEETA PG) 2026. The answer key is available on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
Final Answer Key Preparation
The final answer key has been prepared after a thorough review of objections raised by candidates against the provisional answer key. Students who appeared for the examination can now log in and download the final answer key online. Candidates can also use the final answer key to calculate their probable scores before the declaration of results.
Marking Scheme
As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. The expected score can be calculated using the formula: Expected Score = (Number of Correct Responses × 4) – (Number of Incorrect Responses × 1).
Result Declaration
The TANCET and CEETA PG 2026 results are expected to be announced on May 23, 2026. Every year, thousands of students appear for these exams for admission to postgraduate courses including Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Engineering (M.E.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.), Master of Architecture (M.Arch.), and Master of Planning (M.Plan) offered by colleges across Tamil Nadu.

How to Check TANCET, CEETA PG Final Answer Key 2026
Candidates can follow the steps below to download the final answer key:
- Visit the official website: tancet.annauniv.edu
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “To check the Final Answer Keys Click here”
- Enter the registered email address, password, and 5-digit captcha code
- Click on submit and log in
- The final answer key will appear on the screen
- Download and save it for future reference
As per the official schedule, the TANCET 2026 MBA examination was conducted on May 9 from 10 am to 12 noon, while the MCA examination was held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on the same day. The CEETA PG 2026 examination was conducted on May 10 from 10 am to 12 noon in a single shift at 15 examination centres across Tamil Nadu.
