The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is set to announce the Class 10 Second Examination Result 2026 today at 4:00 PM. The result will be available on the board's official result portal, result.mponline.gov.in. More than 2.89 lakh candidates who appeared for the second examination are eagerly awaiting their scores.
How to Check MP Board Class 10th Second Exam Result 2026
Students can follow these steps to access their results online:
- Visit the designated MPBSE result portal at result.mponline.gov.in.
- Enter the required credentials, such as roll number and date of birth.
- Click on the submit button to view the scorecard.
- Download and print the scorecard for future reference.
Additionally, students can access their results through DigiLocker by logging into their accounts and locating the relevant education section. The UMANG platform may also provide result-related services if enabled by the board. Candidates should keep their examination credentials handy before attempting to check the result.
Background of the Class 10 Examination
The main High School examination was conducted from February 13, 2026, to March 6, 2026. A total of 8,97,061 students appeared across Madhya Pradesh, including 7,87,733 regular candidates and 1,09,328 self-study candidates. The overall pass percentage among regular candidates stood at 73.42 per cent, while self-study candidates recorded a pass percentage of 26.38 per cent.
Government schools performed better with a pass percentage of 76.80 per cent, compared to 68.64 per cent in non-government schools. Girl students outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 77.52 per cent among regular candidates. In the merit list, 235 girls secured positions, compared to 143 boys.
Top Performer and District Rankings
Pratibha Singh Solanki of Saraswati Gyan Mandir High School, Gunaur, Panna, secured the top position in the state by scoring 499 out of 500 marks. Anuppur emerged as the best-performing district with a pass percentage of 93.85 per cent, followed by Alirajpur at 92.14 per cent.
Second Examination System
The board has replaced the traditional supplementary examination system with the second examination model, in line with the National Education Policy 2020. This framework allows students who failed, remained absent, or wished to improve their marks in the main examination to appear again. The second examination began on May 7, 2026.
In the main examination, 2,89,693 candidates were declared unsuccessful. No student was placed under the supplementary category, as the new system has been implemented. The second examination result will be released online, marking the completion of the Class 10 examination cycle for the 2026 academic session.

Students should verify all details on their scorecards after downloading them. The board also provides academic and psychological counselling through its helpline after the declaration of results.
