As per the MOU, AISATS will construct a state-of-the-art cargo campus within the premises of Jewar Airport. This facility is designed to become a major hub for air freight and logistics, serving not just Uttar Pradesh but the entire North Indian region. With Noida Airport being developed with multi-modal connectivity, the new cargo campus is poised to become a strategic hub for international trade.

Key benefits of the cargo campus include:

  • Improved supply chain efficiency for businesses in North India

World-Class Air Catering Kitchen for Regional Supply

Under a second MOU, AISATS will establish a state-of-the-art, world-class air catering kitchen at the airport. This kitchen will provide high-quality meals for flights operating from Noida International Airport and will also supply to other nearby airports in North India. An official highlighted that this initiative will strengthen the food processing and supply chain network in the region.

The air catering kitchen is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities, contributing to local economic growth and skill development.

Economic and Employment Impact

The combined projects are set to transform the region's economic landscape by:

  1. Creating a robust logistics and cargo infrastructure
  2. Enhancing food supply chains for the aviation sector
