Ludhiana Improvement Trust Resolves 40 Public Cases in Special Camp
LIT Camp Settles 40 Pending Property Cases in Ludhiana

In a significant move to address long-standing public grievances, the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) organized a special one-day camp at its office this Thursday. The initiative aimed to fast-track and resolve pending applications from citizens related to various property matters under the Trust's development schemes.

On-the-Spot Resolution for Allottees

The camp was conducted in the presence of senior LIT officers to ensure immediate action. It specifically catered to allottees of properties under different LIT development schemes who had applied for crucial services like registration, transfer, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs). These cases were taken up on a priority basis, bypassing the usual procedural delays.

Efficient Disposal of 40 Cases

Officers reviewed each case on the spot, gathering and examining reports from all concerned departments within the Trust during the camp itself. This streamlined approach led to the swift disposal of a total of 40 pending cases. The breakdown of resolved cases is as follows:

  • 13 cases related to property registry.
  • 9 cases concerning transfer of registry.
  • 9 cases for No Objection Certificates (NOC).
  • 9 cases for Non-Dispute Certificates (NDC).

Once cleared, the relevant documents were promptly handed over to the concerned applicants, providing them with much-needed relief.

A Step Towards Better Governance

This proactive camp underscores the LIT's effort to improve public service delivery and enhance citizen satisfaction. By resolving these matters in a single day, the Trust has not only reduced the backlog but also demonstrated a commitment to transparent and efficient governance. Such initiatives are crucial for building public trust and ensuring that administrative processes serve the people effectively, especially in urban development matters.
