The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has unveiled an ambitious plan to significantly enhance connectivity in the city by constructing two new ramps and a sophisticated cloverleaf interchange on the crucial Hindon Elevated Road. This strategic infrastructure project specifically targets improved access to the densely populated residential areas of Indirapuram and Vasundhara, addressing long-standing transportation gaps that have plagued commuters for years.
Addressing Critical Connectivity Gaps
According to GDA officials, the current infrastructure on the Hindon Elevated Road presents significant limitations for traffic movement, particularly for vehicles heading towards the important UP Gate area. The existing setup at Vasundhara only provides connectivity towards the Raj Nagar Extension (RNE) side of the elevated corridor, with no direct access available for traffic moving towards UP Gate. Similarly, the current provision at Kanawani only permits vehicles to merge from the RNE direction, creating bottlenecks and inefficient traffic flow patterns.
