The ceremony was formally inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Gorakhpur Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan, who performed the traditional lamp-lighting ritual to mark the beginning of the festivities. The fair boasts an impressive array of more than 150 stalls, each displaying a diverse selection of items crafted by women's self-help groups. Notably, women from all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh are actively participating, with 35 stalls specifically representing groups from Prayagraj district alone, highlighting local engagement and talent.
