Hyundai Motor India has implemented a price revision for select variants of its popular sub-four-metre sedan, the Hyundai Aura. The price increase amounts to Rs 5,700 and applies to both petrol and CNG versions of the car. Following this revision, the Aura is now priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 8.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants Affected by the Price Hike
The price increase affects the following variants: S petrol MT, SX petrol MT, S CNG MT, Corporate CNG MT, SX (O) petrol MT, SX+ AMT, and SX CNG MT. Meanwhile, the E petrol MT, Corporate petrol MT, E CNG MT, and S petrol AMT variants continue to be available at their existing prices.
Hyundai's Ongoing Price Revisions
The Aura has become the latest model in Hyundai's portfolio to receive a price revision this month, as part of the company's ongoing round of price hikes across its range. The sedan competes directly with rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Honda Amaze in the sub-four-metre sedan segment.
Engine and Performance
The Hyundai Aura is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 83 hp and 114 Nm of torque. In the CNG specification, the engine generates 69 hp and 95.2 Nm of torque and is available exclusively with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Feature Highlights
In terms of features, the Aura comes equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other notable features include a wireless charger, automatic headlamps, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, cruise control, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a cooled glovebox, a reverse camera with sensors, and six airbags, among others.
