Patna: Pankaj Kumar Gupta has officially assumed charge as the project head of NTPC Kanti. Currently serving as chief general manager, he brings with him an extensive experience of over 34 years in the power sector.

Career Journey

Gupta joined NTPC in 1991 as an executive trainee and has since held several key positions across the organisation. During his illustrious career, he has contributed significantly to project engineering, mechanical systems, energy transition, environmental management, and strategic planning.

Previous Roles

He has previously served at NTPC Kahalgaon, the Corporate Centre, the Energy Transition & Policy Group, and most recently at NTPC Meja, where he handled several important assignments with distinction.

Academic Background

Academically, Gupta holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Lucknow University and an MTech in Applied Mechanics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
