Kia India Expands Carens Clavis Lineup with New HTE(EX) Variant
Kia India has just launched a fresh variant for its popular Carens Clavis model. The company calls this new trim the HTE(EX). It sits right above the existing HTE(O) version in the lineup. This move gives customers more choices across different price points.
Key Features of the New HTE(EX) Trim
The HTE(EX) variant comes packed with several exciting upgrades. Kia offers this trim exclusively in a seven-seat configuration. One of the biggest highlights is the addition of an electric sunroof. This sunroof is now available with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It marks the first time this powertrain gets a sunroof option.
Beyond the sunroof, the HTE(EX) brings many other feature enhancements. You get fully automatic temperature control for better climate management. The car also sports LED daytime running lights and position lamps. These lights improve the front-end styling significantly. Inside the cabin, LED lamps provide brighter illumination. Kia has also included an auto up and down function for the driver-side power window.
Pricing Details for the Carens Clavis HTE(EX)
Kia has priced the new variant competitively. The 1.5-litre NA petrol version starts at Rs 12.55 lakh, ex-showroom. If you prefer more power, the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol variant costs Rs 13.42 lakh, ex-showroom. For diesel enthusiasts, the 1.5-litre diesel model comes in at Rs 14.53 lakh, ex-showroom.
These prices make the HTE(EX) an attractive option in its segment. The variant offers a good mix of features and value. Kia aims to capture more buyers with this strategic addition.
The expansion of the Carens Clavis lineup shows Kia's commitment to the Indian market. The company continues to innovate and respond to customer demands. With the HTE(EX), Kia provides a wider spread of features across different budgets.
