This conference built upon the success of the inaugural Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference held in October. That earlier event generated 1,212 MoUs with investments totaling Rs 3.24 lakh crore.

The recent Saurashtra-Kutch summit emphasized several key growth areas. Organizers focused particularly on the blue economy, shipbuilding, ceramics, and green startup initiatives.

Prime Minister's Inauguration and Venue Details

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the conference on January 11. The event aimed to transform Rajkot's economic profile beyond its traditional strengths in engineering and auto-parts manufacturing.

Conference organizers positioned Rajkot as a potential gateway to international markets. They hosted the event at Marwadi University's sprawling 55-acre campus.

The venue featured six exhibition domes and a central innovation hall. This setup provided a high-tech platform for showcasing regional development and tourism potential.
