A group of candidates aspiring for librarian posts under the Odisha Staff Selection Commission Specialist (OSSC) CGL 2025 recruitment has appealed to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to expedite the commencement of the application process. In a letter addressed to the CM on Sunday, the candidates expressed concern over the delay in issuing the detailed notification, despite an indicative advertisement published on December 30, 2025, which announced 31 librarian positions.
Details of the Recruitment
The recruitment includes 30 positions for librarian-in-DIET/BIET under the directorate of technical education and SCERT, and one librarian post under the same authority. The aspirants highlighted that many eligible candidates are eagerly waiting for the detailed advertisement to apply and begin their preparations.
Concerns Over Delay
The letter stated, "The delay is creating uncertainty," and urged the authorities to release the detailed notification promptly. The candidates believe that an early rollout would provide clarity and relief to deserving applicants. They have requested the chief minister's intervention to ensure the timely commencement of the recruitment process.
The delay has caused anxiety among job seekers who have been preparing for these positions. The candidates emphasized that a swift resolution would help them plan their applications and exam preparations effectively.
