Trump's Address: Claims 8 Wars Settled, $18 Trillion Investment, Strongest US Border
Trump Outlines Foreign Policy, Economic Wins in National Address

In a major national address delivered on Wednesday (local time), US President Donald Trump presented a sweeping account of his administration's accomplishments across foreign policy, the economy, and domestic governance during his presidency.

Trump's Foreign Policy and Border Security Claims

The 47th President of the United States began his speech with a sharp critique of his predecessor, Joe Biden, blaming him for what he termed the "worst" border crisis in American history. Trump asserted that his administration inherited the world's most problematic border and transformed it into the nation's strongest in history within a short span. "We inherited the worst border anywhere in the world, and we quickly turned it into the strongest border in the history of our country," he declared, adding, "Eleven months ago, I inherited a mess, and I'm fixing it."

On the global stage, Trump took credit for a dramatic reshaping of America's position. He made the bold claim of having "restored American strength" by settling eight wars in just ten months. Furthermore, he stated that his actions led to the destruction of the Iran nuclear threat and brought an end to the war in Gaza. "Bringing for the first time in 3000 years peace to the Middle East and secured the release of the hostages, both living and the dead," Trump said, reiterating this point later in his speech.

Record Economic Investment and the 'Tariffs' Strategy

Shifting focus to the economy, President Trump highlighted substantial financial gains, directly linking them to his aggressive trade policies. He announced securing a monumental $18 trillion in investment commitments for the United States. According to him, this influx translates directly into job creation, wage hikes, economic growth, new factory openings, and enhanced national security.

Trump identified tariffs as the cornerstone of this economic strategy, calling it his "favourite word." He argued that while other countries used tariffs against the US for decades, his administration has reversed this dynamic. "Much of this success has been accomplished by tariffs," he stated. This policy, he claimed, is driving a historic reshoring of manufacturing. "Companies know that if they build in America, there are no tariffs. That's why they are coming home to the USA in record numbers," Trump explained.

Domestic Agenda: Narcotics and Cultural Shifts

Beyond border and economy, the President touched upon domestic issues, claiming significant victories in the fight against narcotics and cultural influence. He reported a 94% reduction in drugs entering the country via ocean and sea routes. Additionally, Trump claimed to have broken the influence of what he described as "sinister woke radicals" within the American education system.

Concluding his address, Trump drew a stark contrast between his leadership and that of the previous administration. He accused the politicians of the last four years of serving special interests, illegal immigrants, criminals, and foreign nations at America's expense. "But now, you have a president who fights for the law-abiding, hardworking people of our country—the ones who make this nation run," he asserted, positioning himself as the champion of ordinary American citizens.
