Texas-based journalist Sara Gonzales, who previously gained attention for investigating H-1B visa scams, recently confronted Indian technology professional Naveen Tummala regarding allegations of visa misuse through a food truck business. Allegations of H-1B-H4 Business Arrangement
Gonzales claimed to have received tips suggesting that Naveen Tummala, despite holding an H-1B visa sponsored by Flexera Global Inc., was actively operating the 'Golcona Xpress' food truck business with multiple locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She described this as a typical H-1B-H4 scam scenario where the primary visa holder brings a dependent to the United States and then operates a business under the dependent's name.
"This follows a pattern we've seen before," Gonzales stated. "The H-1B visa holder comes to work for a sponsoring company while their dependent, usually a spouse on an H-4 visa, supposedly runs a separate business. In reality, the H-1B holder is often deeply involved in that business operation."
The Confrontation and Denial
The video shows Gonzales approaching Naveen at a food truck location where she claims to have observed him working throughout the day. She referenced social media posts where Naveen identifies himself as 'masterchef' and shares cooking videos from the food truck.
Naveen firmly denied the allegations, explaining that he had stopped by the food truck after completing his office work at 4 PM to set up a printer. "I am neither the owner nor the chef of this food truck," he asserted during the exchange. "My wife is the owner, and I was simply helping her with a technical issue after my regular work hours."

"I am off my duty. I cannot help my wife, or what? Do you think I am getting paid for it? I know my rules. I know my rights," Naveen responded defiantly. He challenged Gonzales's understanding of visa regulations and business ownership structures.

As the confrontation escalated, Naveen demanded an apology from Gonzales for what he characterized as barging onto private property and making threats. "You can do whatever you want. You think that's American. You guys do the same thing for everybody. Go ahead and check your backyard," he told the journalist.
