Brad Polumbo Slams Nick Fuentes' Racist Attack on Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy
Podcaster Condemns Fuentes' Racist Remarks Against Ramaswamy

In a striking condemnation, podcaster and political commentator Brad Polumbo has launched a fierce critique against far-right figure Nick Fuentes for his explicitly racist remarks targeting Indian-American Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy. The controversy erupted after Fuentes, in a recent podcast episode, attacked Ramaswamy's candidacy for Ohio Governor with xenophobic language.

Fuentes' Racist Outburst Against Ramaswamy

The core of the dispute stems from comments made by Nick Fuentes, a known far-right extremist with a significant online following. During his podcast, Fuentes targeted Vivek Ramaswamy, the Indian-origin entrepreneur and former presidential candidate who is now a frontrunner for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in Ohio. Fuentes not only urged people in Ohio not to vote for Ramaswamy but went as far as to tell him to "go back to India."

This attack came despite Ramaswamy being a staunch Republican whose policy positions often align with conservative values. Polumbo highlighted the glaring contradiction in Fuentes' stance, noting that the far-right podcaster was effectively endorsing the Democratic candidate—who holds liberal views on abortion and transgender issues that Fuentes claims to oppose—over Ramaswamy, solely based on racial prejudice.

Polumbo's Scathing Rebuttal on His Podcast

Brad Polumbo dedicated a segment of his own show to dissecting and denouncing Fuentes' comments. He described Fuentes as a "far-right extremist" gaining viral traction online and expressed concern over his influence. Polumbo contextualized the attack, pointing out that Ramaswamy, a national political figure from the 2024 GOP presidential primaries, is facing this vitriol because he is "not white and not Christian."

Polumbo passionately defended Ramaswamy's vision of American identity. "American citizens are Americans," he argued, "and if you swear allegiance to our country and assimilate to our way of life, you should be welcome here, whether you're white or not, whether you're Christian or another faith or no faith at all." He dismissed the notion of "heritage Americans" being superior as ridiculous, comparing it to the flawed logic of reparations, stating, "you don't get a cookie" for your ancestors' deeds.

The Underlying Motive: Bigotry Over Ideology

In his most direct accusation, Polumbo labeled Nick Fuentes' actions as "openly racist" and driven purely by bigotry. He argued that Fuentes cannot credibly claim to champion an "America First" agenda or oppose left-wing policies while simultaneously campaigning against Republican candidates like Ramaswamy based on racial and ethnic prejudice.

"There's no other explanation here," Polumbo concluded, stating that Fuentes' campaign against Ramaswamy is "deeply revealing of what really motivates Nick Fuentes." He expressed alarm that an increasing number of people are embracing what he called Fuentes' "absolute bigoted" worldview, warning of the concerning implications for the political landscape. The incident underscores a bitter internal conflict within certain factions of the right, where racial identity politics is clashing with stated ideological principles.
