Conservative commentator Candace Owens has made a startling new allegation, claiming a federal agent informed her that Turning Point USA (TPUSA) actively sought to prevent her from discussing a controversial theory involving Egyptian aircraft. Owens shared this claim in a video clip posted on social media platform X by Evan Kilgore on December 3, 2025.
The Alleged Warning and a 'Personal Request'
In the short video, Owens stated that a 'Fed' warned her about a 'personal request' from TPUSA to halt her reports concerning two Egyptian planes. She expressed deep discomfort with the alleged revelation, saying it 'makes my stomach turn.' This development marks a significant escalation in a narrative Owens has been pushing for several weeks, directly linking her investigative efforts to the organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk.
Owens has persistently connected these aircraft to the tragic shooting death of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk, which occurred on September 10, 2025, in Utah. However, she has consistently admitted that she lacks concrete proof for her assertions. Law enforcement authorities have also not corroborated any part of her theory.
Tracking Data and Links to Erika Kirk
Owens began focusing on this story in mid-November 2025. She cites flight-tracking data, reported by some media outlets at the time, which she claims shows two Egyptian-registered aircraft appearing repeatedly near locations visited by Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk's widow.
She provided specific details, alleging that one plane's transponder was active at Provo Airport from 9:05 a.m. to 10:34 a.m. on the morning of the shooting. According to Owens, the same transponder activated again at 12:40 p.m., approximately 17 minutes after the shooting, and remained on until 1:29 p.m. She further claimed that rental cars were linked to individuals from these flights and has publicly requested tips from anyone with information.
Owens later shifted her theory, suggesting the planes were potentially tracking Erika Kirk rather than Charlie. She asserted that one aircraft crossed paths with Erika Kirk's travel an astonishing 70 times over the past few years, a coincidence she described as having a '0.000000001% chance' and labeled 'mindblowing.'
Official Investigations and Unconfirmed Claims
While pursuing this angle, Owens has acknowledged that some of the flight data could have innocuous explanations, such as maintenance or specialized equipment. Despite this, she demands 'answers' and has criticized TPUSA for its silence after she presented the flight data to them, suggesting it feels like 'history repeating.'
Official investigations have not supported Owens's foreign surveillance hypothesis. As reported in mid-November, Utah police arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with Charlie Kirk's shooting. Authorities have not confirmed any link to foreign entities or aircraft.
In the recent clip, Owens stated the new tip from the alleged federal agent sickened her, and she vowed to continue her investigation. She again appealed to the public for any videos or information related to the planes or associated vehicles.
