A five-member French delegation led by Marc Boudin, director of Alliance Francaise du Bengale, concluded their six-day visit to Nagaland on Wednesday.
High-Level Meetings for Collaborations
The delegation held meetings to explore collaborations in culinary arts, culture and traditions, tourism and hospitality, sports and preventive medicine, French language and professional development, international media and promotion, as well as corporate and institutional partnerships between France and Nagaland.
Boudin's Address at Chumoukedima
Addressing a meeting at Chumoukedima, Boudin said their visit was not only to promote French culture but also to link the Naga and French cultures and promote Nagaland in France through partnerships and exchanges. He highlighted the similarities between the French and the Nagas, calling Nagaland a 'region of culture'.
Outcome of Hornbill Festival Roundtable
The visit was an outcome of the Country Partner Business Roundtable held during the Hornbill Festival last year.
