Details of the Seizure
During a physical examination of the passengers’ luggage, officials discovered six vacuum-sealed packets suspected to contain hydroponic weed, also known as ganja. The contraband, weighing approximately 48 kilograms, has an estimated street value of Rs 48 crore.
Investigation Underway
The two Thai nationals have been taken into custody, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the source and intended destination of the drugs. Authorities are also probing possible links to larger drug networks.
