Iran Launches Coordinated Strikes on US Assets Across Middle East

In a significant escalation of hostilities, Iran executed targeted attacks on key American installations throughout the Middle East on Wednesday, marking the fifth day of heightened tensions with joint US-Israeli forces. According to US media reports, Iranian drones and missiles struck a US consulate in Dubai, a CIA station within the US Embassy compound in Riyadh, and a military base at Al-Udeid in Qatar.

US Consulate in Dubai Targeted by Drone Strike

The Wall Street Journal, citing a US official and Dubai’s government media office, confirmed that a drone attack hit the parking lot of the US consulate in Dubai. Authorities managed to contain a limited fire in the vicinity of the consulate following the strike. Social media footage circulated widely, showing black smoke billowing near the consulate building. Dubai’s government assured that emergency teams responded immediately and successfully contained the fire, with no injuries reported from the incident.

CIA Station in Riyadh Suffers Structural Damage

Fox News, referencing sources, reported that a CIA station located inside the US Embassy compound in Riyadh was struck by a drone attack. Officials stated that two drones caused structural damage and filled the interior with smoke. An internal state department alert obtained by the Washington Post revealed that the attack led to part of the embassy's roof collapsing and significant smoke infiltration, resulting in structural harm. While both the US and Saudi governments acknowledged the drone strikes on the embassy complex, neither disclosed that the CIA station was specifically targeted, according to the report.

Military Base in Qatar Hit by Ballistic Missile

Qatar’s Defence Ministry announced that an Iranian ballistic missile struck the US military base at Al-Udeid, as part of Iran’s retaliatory actions against US-Israeli attacks across the region. The ministry detailed that Qatar was targeted by two missiles, with air defence systems intercepting one, while the second missile hit the Al-Udeid base without causing any casualties. In a related development, Qatar’s official press agency reported that the country had dismantled two spy cells linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, arresting ten suspects involved in espionage and sabotage activities.
