Delhi Police Busts ISI-Linked Terror Module, Nine Arrested

In a major counter-terror operation, Delhi Police has arrested nine suspected operatives allegedly linked to a Pakistan-backed terror module. Investigators claim the network was guided by ISI handlers and underworld operatives, planning attacks on vital installations, security personnel, religious sites, and crowded public locations in Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities.

Breakthrough in Pune

The breakthrough came after the arrest of sharpshooter Vijay alias 'Don' in Pune. This led agencies to uncover drone-smuggled weapons, live grenades, Pakistani-origin ammunition, and an extensive reconnaissance network. Authorities are now probing the group's domestic and international links, funding channels, and alleged connections to the D-Company.

Scope of Investigation

The operation highlights the growing use of drones for smuggling arms across borders. The arrested individuals are believed to have been in contact with handlers based in Pakistan. Delhi Police is working with central agencies to trace the entire network and prevent any potential attacks.
