The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has officially announced the second edition of the GCCI Gujarat Sustainability Summit 2026, which will take place on May 15 in Ahmedabad. Organized by the GCCI ESG Task Force, this year's summit adopts a national outlook, broadening its scope beyond the state.
Theme and Objectives
The summit's theme emphasizes Gujarat's role in sustainable growth, aiming to position the state as a model for climate-responsive industrial development. It will convene a diverse group of stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, financial institutions, researchers, startups, and global experts.
Key Partnerships
GCCI has partnered with prominent organizations such as CEEW, TERI, WRI India, and CPI. Additionally, IIM Ahmedabad, CEPT University, and i-Hub Gujarat will actively participate in the event. Ten climate-tech startups are set to showcase scalable green solutions during the summit.
Leadership Perspectives
“This summit reflects Gujarat’s leadership in sustainable industrial growth,” said Sandeep Engineer, President of GCCI. Sameer Sinha, Chairman of the ESG Taskforce, added, “Sustainable is now profitable, and we are helping MSMEs to adopt sustainable practices.”

The summit agenda covers critical topics such as green finance, carbon markets, decarbonization, sustainable logistics, inclusive leadership, and sustainable infrastructure. These discussions aim to drive actionable strategies for a greener future.
