The maximum temperature has touched 45 degrees Celsius, marking a departure of 4.4 degrees from normal. Weather Conditions and Alert
The weather remains harsh and unforgiving, dominated by clear skies, dry air, low humidity, and hot winds, pushing the heat index even higher. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for the ongoing heatwave, which is expected to persist at least until May 23, with no significant rainfall in sight. In response, the District Magistrate has released safety advisories, urging residents to remain indoors during peak hours, stay well hydrated, avoid direct exposure to the sun, and use reflective coverings on windows.
Special Arrangements at Kashi Vishwanath Temple
