A devastating road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Chitrakoot district on Tuesday left six people dead and three others injured. The incident occurred when a speeding car collided head-on with a truck on the Chitrakoot-Mau road near the Karvi police station area.

According to police officials, the car was traveling from Mau towards Chitrakoot when it lost control and crashed into an oncoming truck. The impact was so severe that the car was completely mangled, and six occupants died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as residents of Mau district, aged between 25 and 40 years.
