Madhya Pradesh is set to become India's milk capital, announced Chief Minister Dr. Yadav at the State Livestock and Dairy Sammelan. The government will procure milk and ensure fair prices for livestock farmers, benefiting dairy producers during Krishak Kalyan Varsh.
Key Measures Announced
CM Dr. Yadav unveiled several initiatives to boost the dairy sector. These include fourfold compensation for acquired farmland, establishment of an Animal Wellness Centre in Gwalior, upgrading of animal health centres across the state, and construction of a new veterinary hospital in Dabra.
Benefits for Farmers
The schemes aim to provide motivation for animal husbandry and dairy adoption. Farmers will receive direct benefits, with the government ensuring a stable market and remunerative prices for milk and livestock products.
