Madurai: Several trains in the Madurai division have been diverted, cancelled (fully or partially), or rescheduled this month as part of a fixed time corridor block for safety, line and power upgrades, and maintenance work.
Key Diversions and Cancellations
The Nagercoil-Lokmanya Tilak Express will now run via Madurai, Manamadurai, Karaikudi, and Trichy, skipping Dindigul. Additional stoppages have been provided at Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, and Pudukkottai.
The Kanniyakumari-Howrah Superfast Express has been diverted via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikudi, and Trichy, skipping stoppages at Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, and Dindigul. It will now stop at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, and Pudukottai.
The Guruvayur Express will run via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikudi, and Trichy, skipping Madurai, Sholavandan, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, and Manapparai. Additional stoppages are at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, and Pudukottai.

The Madurai-Bikaner Anuvrat Superfast Express has been diverted via Madurai, Manamadurai, Karaikudi, and Trichy, skipping Kodaikanal Road and Dindigul. Additional stoppages are at Manamadurai and Karaikkudi.
Further Changes
The Nagercoil-Kacheguda Express has been diverted via Dindigul and Karur, skipping Trichy. The Madurai-Chennai Egmore Tejas Express is rescheduled to leave Madurai at 4 pm on May 30. The Erode Junction-Sengottai Express has been fully cancelled till the first week of June. The Madurai Junction-Rameswaram Passenger has been partially cancelled between Mandapam and Rameswaram.
The Sengottai-Mayiladuthurai Express has been diverted via Madurai Junction, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi, and Trichy. There will be no stoppages at Kodaikkanal Road, Dindigul, Vadamadurai, Vaiyampatti, and Manapparai, but additional stoppages at Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Devakottai Road, Karaikkudi, and Pudukottai.
The Ernakulam Junction-Velankanni Express will run via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Karaikkudi, and Trichy, skipping stoppages at Madurai Junction and Dindigul, but with additional stoppages at Aruppukkottai, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Karaikkudi, and Pudukottai.
The Sengottai-Madurai Junction Passenger will run via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, and Madurai Junction. The train skips Kalligudi, Tirumangalm, and Thiruprankundram, but has additional stoppages at Aruppukottai, Manamadurai, and Madurai East.
The Coimbatore Junction-Nagercoil Junction Express has been diverted via Madurai, Manamadurai, and Virudhunagar. The Tiruchendur-Palakkad Junction Express has been diverted via Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, and Madurai Junction, skipping Tirumangalam, Thiruparankundram, and Kalligudi. The train stops at Manamadurai and Madurai East in the diverted route.
