Patna: Ashish Rajvansh, a sixth-semester mechanical engineering student at Government Polytechnic College, Gulzarbagh, Patna, has been chosen to represent India in the aircraft maintenance category at the Skill India competition. The international event is scheduled to take place in Shanghai, China, on September 22.

Science, Technology and Technical Education Minister Shila Kumari congratulated the student and described the achievement as a matter of pride for both Bihar and the country.

Ashish previously won a gold medal at the state-level competition held in Bhubaneshwar and a bronze medal at the national-level event in Mumbai. After undergoing advanced training and assessment at GMR Aero School of Aviation, he earned the opportunity to represent India on the international stage.
