Fifteen passengers sustained minor injuries after a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus overturned in Chitradurga district on Tuesday morning, police said.
Accident Details
The accident occurred near Heggare in Challakere taluk of Chitradurga district at around 7 am. The bus was traveling from a nearby town when it lost control and overturned on the roadside. Police officials reached the spot shortly after the incident and initiated rescue operations.
Injuries and Response
All 15 injured passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Medical staff confirmed that the injuries are minor, and most passengers have been discharged after first aid.
