A Fully Indigenous Achievement
The Vikram-1 rocket is a testament to homegrown innovation, being entirely designed and manufactured in India by Skyroot Aerospace. Boosting India's Commercial Space Ambitions
The primary mission of the Vikram-1 is to deploy satellites into low Earth orbit (LEO) in a rapid, flexible, and cost-effective manner. This capability is crucial for offering domestic and international clients an efficient solution for on-demand satellite deployment. The inauguration of the supporting Infinity campus, a massive facility spanning over 2 lakh square feet in Hyderabad, is a key enabler. This campus allows for the design, development, integration, and testing of multiple launch vehicles at once, with a production capacity of one Vikram-series rocket every month.
