Motorola Signature Full Specs Leaked Ahead of Jan 7 India Launch

Just days before its official unveiling, the complete specifications sheet for Motorola's highly anticipated Signature smartphone has surfaced online. The device, set to launch in India on January 7, 2026, promises to be a flagship contender with a unique design and top-tier hardware, as revealed by a detailed leak from renowned tipster Evan Blass on platform X.

Leaked Design and Display Details

The Motorola Signature is expected to stand out with a distinctive 'fabric' finish on its rear panel, a design choice that could offer both style and enhanced grip. The front is dominated by a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780 x 1264 pixels and an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 95.23%.

For smooth visuals, the panel is said to support a 165Hz refresh rate, while its peak brightness is touted to reach a staggering 6,200 nits. The display technology is further enhanced with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and it has reportedly received Pantone Validation for accurate color reproduction.

Powerful Performance and Camera Setup

At its core, the Motorola Signature is tipped to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, positioning it directly against rivals like the OnePlus 15R. Memory configurations could go up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola reportedly committing to a generous 7 years of OS updates and security patches. The camera system appears to be a major highlight, featuring a triple rear setup where each sensor boasts 50MP resolution.

The primary camera is rumored to use a Sony LYTIA 828 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 122-degree field of view and macro capabilities, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera (Sony LYTIA 600) offering 3x optical zoom. For selfies, a 50MP Sony LYTIA 500 front camera is expected.

Durability, Battery, and Charging

The device is said to be built for resilience with both IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, alongside MIL-STD 810H certification for durability. Despite its robust build, the phone is claimed to be sleek, with an aluminium frame measuring just 6.99mm in thickness and weighing 186 grams.

Keeping the lights on will be a substantial 5,200mAh Silicon-Carbon battery. Charging speeds are expected to be fast, with support for 90W TurboPower wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone may also offer 10W reverse wireless charging to power up other devices.

This comprehensive leak paints a picture of a formidable flagship ready to challenge the premium segment in India. With its combination of a unique fabric design, top-shelf display, powerful chipset, and versatile camera system, the Motorola Signature aims to make a strong statement upon its debut next week.
