Vivo has officially announced the upcoming launch of its X200T smartphone in India. The company confirmed that the device will be available for purchase on Flipkart. While Vivo shared some initial details, a recent leak has provided a comprehensive look at the phone's specifications and expected pricing.
Vivo X200T Expected Specifications
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo X200T will feature a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display. This screen offers a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, promising sharp and vibrant visuals for users.
Powerful Performance Hardware
Under the hood, the phone is tipped to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC. This powerful chipset will pair with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for smooth multitasking and fast data access. The device will run Android 16 out of the box with Vivo's OriginOS 6 skin on top.
Vivo plans to support the X200T with five years of Android OS updates. The company will also provide seven years of security patches, ensuring long-term software reliability.
Advanced Camera System
The camera setup appears particularly impressive. The X200T will sport a triple rear camera system with ZEISS optics. This includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA LYT-702 primary sensor with optical image stabilization. It also features a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide angle lens and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens.
For selfies and video calls, the phone may house a 32MP front-facing camera. This combination should deliver excellent photography capabilities across various lighting conditions.
Battery and Additional Features
Powering the device will be a massive 6,200mAh battery. This large capacity should provide extended usage time between charges. The phone supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging for quick power top-ups.
Other notable features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. The X200T will likely carry IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Color options may include Black and Purple variants.
Expected Pricing in India
The leak suggests specific pricing for different storage configurations. The 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant could cost ₹59,999. The higher-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage may be priced at ₹69,999.
If these price points prove accurate, the Vivo X200T will directly compete with devices like the Oppo Reno 15 Pro in the Indian market. The combination of premium specifications and competitive pricing could make it a strong contender in the sub-flagship segment.
Vivo has not yet announced an exact launch date, but the confirmation of Flipkart availability indicates the release is imminent. Tech enthusiasts and potential buyers should watch for official announcements in the coming days.
