Samsung's AI Vision at CES 2026: 130-Inch Micro RGB TV & Smart Home Ecosystem
Samsung Unveils AI-Powered Ecosystem & 130-Inch TV at CES 2026

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics laid out a bold new roadmap for the future of connected living. The company introduced its comprehensive "Companion to AI Living" vision, detailing how artificial intelligence will transform everyday moments across its entire range of products. This vision is powered by major updates to televisions, home appliances, and health-monitoring systems, all designed to work together as one seamless, intelligent ecosystem.

The Centerpiece: A Revolutionary 130-Inch Micro RGB Television

The star of Samsung's announcement was undoubtedly its groundbreaking 130-inch Micro RGB television. This colossal display promises to deliver the brand's broadest and most nuanced color spectrum to date. The technology behind this achievement involves microscopic red, green, and blue diodes that illuminate independently to produce incredibly realistic shades. This is further enhanced by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, which provides advanced color control.

Driving this entire experience is the Vision AI Companion (VAC). This intelligent system allows users to go beyond passive viewing. Through voice commands, VAC lets you decide what to watch, find recipes from cooking shows, or even choose music, effectively making the TV the command center for home entertainment and daily tasks.

AI Transforms Entertainment and Daily Routines

Samsung's 2026 TV lineup is packed with AI features tailored for modern lifestyles. For sports fans, the AI Soccer Mode Pro offers stadium-grade picture and sound tuning. The AI Sound Controller Pro gives viewers the unique ability to adjust crowd noise and background music separately for a customized audio experience.

VAC's capabilities extend across Samsung's entire TV family, from premium Micro LED and OLED models to standard UHD sets. Its integration is deep: you can identify a meal from a cooking show and have the recipe sent directly to your connected kitchen devices. The system can also pull in updated nutritional information to align with personal health and fitness goals. Recipes can be forwarded to devices like Samsung's new mobile display, The Movingstyle, or straight to smart kitchen appliances.

Other notable TV introductions include the Freestyle+ portable projector, which uses VAC to project content onto virtually any surface, and the ultra-thin OLED S95H with an art-gallery aesthetic. All 2026 Samsung TVs will feature HDR10+ ADVANCED support and Eclipsa Audio spatial sound. The company has also committed to providing seven years of Tizen OS upgrades for its new televisions.

Smart Appliances Evolve into Proactive Home Companions

Samsung's vision extends far beyond the living room. The new Family Hub refrigerator now uses AI Vision powered by Google Gemini to automatically track food items inside. Its "What's for Today?" feature suggests recipes, and it provides weekly FoodNote reports on eating patterns and restocking needs. Users can even convert cooking videos into step-by-step instructions that sync with connected ovens and hobs.

Laundry gets an AI upgrade with the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, an all-in-one washer-dryer that eliminates the need to transfer loads. The new Bespoke AI AirDresser employs steam jets for automatic wrinkle removal. For cleaning, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra vacuum, powered by a Qualcomm processor, can identify and clean various liquid spills and even function as a home monitoring device.

Samsung revealed that its SmartThings platform was serving more than 430 million users by December 2025. In a significant move, the company has partnered with Hartford Steam Boiler to offer smart home insurance discounts, expanding a pilot program that began in the US in 2025.

A Shift to Proactive Health Monitoring and Prevention

A key pillar of Samsung's 2026 strategy is a shift from reactive health tracking to proactive prevention. The company aims to use its device ecosystem to provide personalized coaching for exercise, sleep, and nutrition while detecting abnormal health patterns early. Notably, Samsung is conducting research into dementia detection through wearables that monitor subtle changes in mobility, speech, and social engagement.

All user data across this connected ecosystem is protected by Samsung's Knox and Knox Matrix security systems. The Samsung Exhibition Zone at CES 2026 is open to the public from January 4 to 7 in Las Vegas.
