Attractive launch offers include an instant discount of Rs 2,000 for customers using Axis Bank, SBI, or ICICI Bank cards. Buyers can also opt for a no-cost EMI plan for up to 6 months on their purchase.
Powerful Specifications and Features
Both tablets are built around a spacious 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. The screen boasts a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of up to 600 nits, and features an anti-glare Pro Matte Glass version for comfortable viewing.
Under the hood, the devices are driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. This hardware combination promises smooth performance for multitasking, gaming, and content consumption.
The software experience is based on the latest Android 15 operating system, overlaid with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2. In a significant commitment to long-term support, Xiaomi has announced that these tablets will receive 5 years of major OS updates and up to 7 years of security patches.
Immersive Audio, Cameras, and All-Day Battery
For an immersive audio experience, the tablets feature a quad-speaker system tuned by Dolby Atmos, supported by dual microphones. The camera setup includes an 8MP sensor on both the rear and front, each with an f/2.0 aperture, suitable for video calls and basic photography.
Powering the entire package is a substantial 12,000mAh battery, which should easily last through a full day of heavy use. When it's time to recharge, the tablet supports 33W fast charging to minimize downtime.
The launch of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro series marks Xiaomi's aggressive push in the competitive mid-range tablet segment in India, offering modern specifications, a large display, and a promise of extended software support to attract students, professionals, and entertainment seekers.
