The mines department has established 46 camps across eight districts under the jurisdiction of Jaipur superintending mining engineer (SME) to install vehicle tracking systems (VTS) in 6,470 mineral transport vehicles starting May 20. This initiative is part of efforts to strengthen monitoring and automate mineral transportation.
