Nagpur: Electricity supply will be disrupted for several hours across parts of Nagpur on Wednesday as the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) undertakes extensive pre-monsoon maintenance and repair works. According to MSEDCL, outages will affect areas under the Congress Nagar, Civil Lines, and Butibori divisions, along with consumers linked to the Clark Town feeder.
Congress Nagar Division
In the Congress Nagar division, supply will remain affected in Pandhrabodi, Trust Layout, and Devtale Layout between 7:30 am and 10:30 am. Areas from Ajni to Orange City Chowk, including Deo Nagar, Savarkar Nagar, and LIC Colony, will face outages from 7 am to 10 am.
Other Affected Areas
Power supply will also remain suspended between 7 am and 11 am in Telangkhedi, Marar Toli, PNT Colony, Karve Nagar, Ujwal Nagar, Pawan Bhoomi, Paryavaran Nagar, Shri Ram Nagar, Cosmopolitan, Saraswati Vihar, Lokhande Nagar, Pathan Layout, Sambhaji Nagar, Bhange Lawn, Bhagyashree Layout, Cosmos Town, Dronacharya Nagar, and Gorle Layout. Similarly, Sujata Layout, Gandhi Builder area, Agne Layout, Swawlambi Nagar, Saraswati Nagar, and Deendayal Nagar will witness outages from 8 am to 11 am.
Electricity supply will remain affected from 7:30 am to 10 am in Aishwarya Layout, Shivshakti Layout, CGHS Society, and Sonegaon, while Hiranwar Layout, Anand Nagar, and Gharkul will face outages from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. MSEDCL further stated that Gayatri Nagar, Parsodi, Datta Mandir area, Shri Nagar, Hanuman Mandir area, Gopal Nagar, Naik Layout, Fire Quarter, Vijay Nagar, Himala Prestige, Shewalkar Garden, ETS Colony, and IT Park will remain without electricity from 7 am to 11 am.
Civil Lines Division
Under the Civil Lines division, supply in Sindhi Colony, Kadbi Chowk, Christian Colony, Lumbini Nagar, and Clark Town will remain shut between 7 am and 11 am.
Butibori Industrial Area
In the Butibori industrial area, electricity supply to industries including Karmtara, Suryakiran, Hindustan, Jaiswal Neco, Cadeleris, Ruchi Soya, Inventory, and Premier Irrigation will be affected from 9 am onwards. Supply in A-Zone Phase-2, SEZ Zone, and SAZ Food areas will remain disrupted between 1 pm and 2:30 pm.
