Bengaluru: Following a backend server failure, the use of National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC) has been disrupted across the city’s Metro stations. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has officially stated that an “unforeseen technical issue” has made the top-up and recharge facility for these cards temporarily unavailable.
BMRCL Statement and Advisory
“Efforts are being made on priority to restore the service at the earliest,” BMRCL said in a statement. Passengers using NCMC cards are advised to plan their travel accordingly. In case they are unable to recharge or use their NCMC cards, they may purchase QR tickets or tokens for their journeys to avoid inconvenience.
