The appeal emphasizes the importance of adopting sustainable commuting practices and reducing unnecessary energy consumption within the hospital premises.

Key Recommendations for Staff

The notification encourages employees to use public transport when traveling to the hospital. Those living nearby are urged to consider cycling as an eco-friendly alternative. Additionally, staff members commuting along similar routes are advised to participate in vehicle pooling to minimize fuel usage.

Energy Conservation Measures

The hospital administration has also called for mindful usage of electrical appliances. Staff are instructed to turn off fans, air-conditioners, and lights when not in use. Air-conditioners should be set to a temperature of 24 degrees Celsius or higher to optimize energy efficiency. During daytime, the use of natural light and ventilation is recommended to reduce reliance on artificial lighting and cooling systems.
