Lucknow: Class X students of Atal Residential School, Mohanlalganj, gained hands-on experience with emerging technologies on Friday through the innovative 'Lab on Wheels' bus. The mobile laboratory, equipped with a variety of tools and equipment, provided students with practical knowledge in basic electronics, programming, coding, Arduino-based projects, robot development, automatic street lights, app-operated cars, traffic light systems, and 3D designing.
First-Time Exposure to Advanced Tech
Students expressed that this was their first encounter with a specialized bus offering insights into Artificial Brain technology and 3D machinery. One group noted that the bus demonstrated techniques for controlling a car via a mobile app, operating streetlights using sensors, and understanding traffic light systems—concepts they had previously only studied in classrooms. Additionally, students were taught to create their own games through coding, develop AI applications, and learn the process of building drones.
Government Initiative for Tech Education
According to Principal Secretary of Technical Education, MKS Sundaram, the bus is stationed at APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and was dispatched to Atal Residential School to provide students with exposure to cutting-edge technologies. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, inspiring young minds to explore careers in science and technology.
