Two women posing as passengers managed to steal approximately 360 grams of gold ornaments from a woman's bag at the RTC complex in Visakhapatnam on Saturday evening. The theft has created panic among passengers and raised serious security concerns at one of the busiest bus complexes in the region.

Incident Details

According to reports, the incident took place when the victim was preparing to board a Kakinada-bound bus at the RTC complex. She was carrying a bag containing around 360 grams of gold ornaments. Two women followed her as she boarded the bus and cleverly stole the gold ornaments from her bag before escaping from the spot unnoticed.

CCTV Footage Captures Theft

The entire incident was reportedly captured on CCTV cameras installed at the bus complex. The police have registered a case and are examining the footage to identify and trace the two women suspects involved in the theft. Authorities suspect that the accused are repeat offenders who have previously targeted passengers carrying valuables in crowded areas across the region.
