TheBurntPeanut Confirms Fortnite Crossover as Rare Sprite

After weeks of speculation and online discussions, popular streamer TheBurntPeanut has finally confirmed his involvement in a Fortnite crossover. The rumors began at the end of May when Epic Games showcased content for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Players spotted a small peanut-like character resembling TheBurntPeanut, sparking widespread speculation on social media.

Initial Denials and Fan Reactions

The streamer initially denied any knowledge of the crossover and even joked about the situation. This only fueled further discussion among fans, especially as some players expressed dissatisfaction with the potential collaboration. Now that the new season is live, TheBurntPeanut has officially revealed the crossover, putting an end to weeks of questions and rumors within the Fortnite community.

Confirmation During Livestream

During a recent livestream, TheBurntPeanut jokingly told viewers that nobody knew what he was about to say before confirming his official inclusion in Fortnite. However, players expecting a traditional skin may be surprised. Instead of a playable character, TheBurntPeanut has been added as a special Sprite companion.

How to Obtain the Rare Sprite

Players can find the Sprite in several ways: it may appear from regular Chests, purple Sprite Chests, or while exploring different areas of the map. It can also be acquired by eliminating players who already own the Sprite. However, the Sprite is quite rare, with a drop rate of only 1.5%, making it one of the rarest Sprites currently in Fortnite.

Gameplay Advantage

The rare buddy provides a significant gameplay advantage by granting more rewards when players eliminate enemies. These rewards may include Mythic weapons, making the Sprite highly valuable during matches.

Extraction and Future Use

After acquiring the rare Sprite, players must head to an Extraction Site on the map. Activating the site creates an Extraction Crate where Sprites can be safely stored. Once extracted, the Sprite can be brought into future matches. It can also pilot the mech skin unlocked through the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass, offering an experience similar to having a Peanut-themed skin.

The confirmation finally settles weeks of speculation surrounding the crossover. While TheBurntPeanut may not have received a traditional Fortnite skin, his rare Sprite companion has officially made him part of the game's growing list of collaborations.
