Sennheiser CX 80 and HD 400 Return with USB-C in India

Sennheiser has reintroduced its iconic classics, the CX 80 and HD 400, with USB-C connectivity in India. The new range eliminates the need for pairing or charging, catering to users seeking reliable audio for work, entertainment, and gaming.

High-Resolution Audio and Key Features

The Sennheiser CX 80U and HD 400U support up to 24-bit and 96 kHz digital audio playback, delivering direct, high-resolution sound with minimal latency. The company stated: "The wired format brings key advantages for today's consumers—enhanced privacy, zero latency for gaming and content consumption, and a more sustainable design without batteries. As digital wellbeing and intentional tech choices gain traction, wired audio is making a strong comeback among professionals, creators, and Gen Z users."

Design and Legacy

The HD 400U builds on the HD 400S legacy, featuring bass-driven acoustics and everyday portability. Its closed-back, over-ear design offers effective passive noise isolation for focused listening. The CX 80U continues the CX 80S tradition with a compact in-ear design and balanced, punchy sound. It includes three sizes of soft ear tips for a secure fit during commutes, work, or leisure.

In India, where consumers use multiple devices, there is a growing preference for solutions that work without charging or connectivity interruptions. With the CX 80U and HD 400U, we combine Sennheiser's signature sound with plug-and-play ease for immersive audio."
