PULSUS to Expand AI Hub After SC Upholds SEZ Status

Hyderabad: PULSUS Group on Monday announced plans to accelerate the expansion of its Ameenpur AI Healthcare and Digital Innovation Hub following a Supreme Court ruling that upheld the project's IT/ITeS park and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) status. The decision resolves regulatory uncertainties surrounding the 35-acre campus near Miyapur.

Project Details and Job Creation

The company stated that the ₹500 crore project is expected to generate 6,000 direct jobs and support approximately 30,000 indirect positions as operations scale in artificial intelligence, healthcare technology, and digital services. PULSUS said the ruling enables fresh investment and faster development of facilities targeting global healthcare information and research support markets.

CEO's Vision

PULSUS Group CEO Dr. Gedela Srinubabu noted that the Ameenpur project was conceived as a technology and employment hub but faced delays due to legal and regulatory challenges. With the ITES-SEZ status now confirmed, he said the company aims to build one of Telangana's leading AI healthcare and digital innovation campuses, employing engineers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and digital specialists.

Its Visakhapatnam operations targeted about 6,000 jobs and supported an estimated 30,000 indirect livelihoods. The company reported that its Ameenpur operations have already created about 1,500 direct jobs, and the campus is expected to strengthen Telangana's technology, life sciences, and healthcare innovation ecosystem, particularly along the Miyapur growth corridor.

Future Plans

PULSUS plans to establish partnerships with universities, research institutions, healthcare organizations, startups, and technology firms to support AI-driven health solutions, clinical research, bioinformatics, data science, and global digital service delivery from the Ameenpur hub.
