Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the required qualification for the specific post, such as a trade certificate in the relevant ITI trade, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), or a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT). The qualification must be full-time from a recognized institution. Distance learning, part-time, and correspondence mode qualifications are not accepted. The essential qualification must have been completed in 2022 or later.
Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 24 years as of May 15, 2026. Candidates should be born between May 15, 2002, and May 15, 2008. Age relaxation is applicable: Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 5 years, Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) – 3 years, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) – additional relaxation as per rules.
OPaL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Stipend Details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as follows:
- Trade Apprentice (Two-year ITI Trade): Rs 10,560
- Graduate Apprentice (B.Com / BBA / Bachelor’s degree in IT): Rs 12,300
OPaL has clarified that accommodation will not be provided; apprentices must arrange their own stay.
