NE's First New Age Tech Skills Centre Inaugurated in Mizoram

The school education minister of Mizoram, Vanlalthlana, inaugurated the first-ever 'New Age Tech Skills Centre' in the Northeast region on Friday. The centre is located at the Government Comprehensive Model School in the Model Veng locality of Aizawl.

Establishment and Collaboration

This centre has been established under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Bharat Forge Ltd, a globally renowned company in the fields of forging and defence manufacturing. SimuSoft Technologies serves as the technical partner for the project, leading the setup of the centre, training delivery, and curriculum development. The initiative is implemented in collaboration with the school education department of the Government of Mizoram.

The project originated from a CSR workshop organised in Aizawl in June 2025 by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the CSR Cell of the Government of Mizoram.
