Ahmedabad: Gujarat University (GU) has postponed more than 40 examinations that were originally scheduled for May 28, following the state government's decision to declare a public holiday for Eid-ul-Adha on that day. The university has now issued revised dates for all affected examinations.
Reason for Rescheduling
Earlier, the state government had announced May 27 as a holiday for Eid-ul-Adha, and the university had planned its examination schedule accordingly. However, after the holiday was later shifted to May 28, the university was compelled to reschedule a large number of exams to avoid conflicts.

According to the updated timetable, exams for courses such as FY and SY MSc IT, MSc Data Science, BA Drama Fine Arts Semester 2, and BPA Integrated Semester 4 will now be conducted on May 29. In addition, some examinations like BA Semester 2 will now take place on June 1, while others, including certain MBA and IMBA exams, are scheduled between June 2 and June 6.
