Gnani.ai Scales Up Voice AI Strategy with New Products

Gnani.ai, a Bengaluru-based conversational AI startup, is scaling up its voice AI strategy with new product launches and strategic partnerships. The company, co-founded by former Texas Instruments engineers, aims to capture a larger share of the growing voice AI market in India and beyond.

Early Days and Growth

The early days were bare-bones. “We didn’t have a place to work. Only the two of us were there. One of our former TI colleagues had an office in Rajajinagar Industrial Town and we spent some time there. Then we hired our first employee, fresh out of college in Bengaluru,” said Gopalan, Co-founder and CEO. Since then, Gnani.ai has grown to over 50 employees and serves clients across banking, healthcare, and customer service sectors.

New Product Launches

Gnani.ai recently launched a new suite of multilingual voice AI products that support over 10 Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali. The products are designed to handle complex conversational flows with high accuracy. According to the company, the new solutions reduce customer service costs by up to 40% while improving response times.

Partnerships and Impact

The company has also forged partnerships with several major banks and healthcare providers to deploy voice-based customer service bots. One partnership with a leading Indian bank saw a 30% reduction in call handling time and a 25% increase in customer satisfaction scores, according to Gnani.ai's internal data.

“We are seeing strong demand for voice AI solutions that can handle Indian languages and accents,” said Gopalan. “Our goal is to make voice the primary interface for customer service in India.”

Market Context

The voice AI market in India is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of over 30% in the next five years, driven by increasing smartphone penetration and demand for vernacular digital services. Gnani.ai faces competition from global players like Google and Amazon, as well as local startups, but its focus on Indian languages gives it a unique advantage.

The company has raised over $5 million in funding from investors including Exfinity Venture Partners and has been recognized for its innovation in speech technology. With the new strategy, Gnani.ai aims to double its client base and revenue by the end of 2027.
